A fairly austere Pinot Noir, but definitely true to the varietal, being light-bodied and marked by dark cherry fruit flavors with underlying hints of dusty earth, this wine outperforms a great many Pinots costing considerably more. It does not try to be lavish or particularly lush, and is content to showcase the grape rather than the winemaking.
