The stated 14.5% alcohol would suggest this is a muscular over-the-top type of Pinot Noir. But it isn’t. There’s certainly ripeness, but a lovely marriage of ripe fruit notes and layers of savory elements makes it work. A surprising delicacy emerges in the finish.
