Unlike a lot of regional wine pioneers, Cloudy Bay has never let up on the quality and complexity of its wines, especially at the premium level. The Te Koko bottling of Sauvignon Blanc has rich green / blue fruit flavors of kiwi, quince and a hint of grapefruit with a compact complexity and good texture, moderate body, some chalkiness, good acidity, considerable dusty tannins and a long finish.
