One of the great things about this gig is the chance to taste a wide variety of styles of Pinot Noir side by side, and finding good things to say regardless of which end of the spectrum a well made wine expresses. This beauty lands in the light in color but not light on flavor zone, showing vibrant cherry and strawberry, forest floor and pie spice aromas that lead to a palate that starts silky soft and ends cranberry bright, carrying the red fruit and spice through the long, blossoming finish. If you can keep your hands off for a few years, there’s and extremely elegant delight brewing.
