Livermore Valley and Concannon have a long history with Petite Sirah. The Conservancy addition to the Concannon line aims to preserve the land and “a simpler way of life for future generations.” All Petite Sirah, aged in French and American oak, it has a dark ruby color, low intensity fruit that develops with time in the glass, dry, crisp acidity, 13.5% alcohol and a medium finish. There was a whiff of SO2 when first poured that blew off with airing in the glass.
