Corvidae Wine Company, Columbia Valley (Washington) Sauvignon Blanc 2019

 Everything about this Sauvignon Blanc is a delight, from the charming crow (the “wise guy”) on the label, to the bright, flavorful wine in the glass. Citrusy and lightly floral, with a touch of pear and a hint of green grass, this is a white wine to add to your list of favorites.  A terrific and versatile Sauvignon Blanc on its own, and even better with food, I’ve enjoyed it recently on two different occasions, once with crab cakes and a few nights later with a chunky vegetable soup.
