Often a favorite bottle, the 2021 version of Cuvaison’s Brut Rosé hits a high mark in the line of vintages for its intense red apple character mixed with fresh lemon zest, strawberry and a dash of raspberry fruit. As always, I appreciate winemaker Steve Rogstad’s affinity for acidity — the racy, lively type that waters the mouth and asks you back for sip after sip. You will find a glass of this hard to put down. Or is that easy to put down? Whatever your perspective, the bottle will empty quickly.
