This is a surprisingly forward Morgan, one of the cru of Beaujolais that usually needs a few years to reveal its charms. But here, bright black and red cherry-like fruit flavors shine. Not a fruit bomb, a backbone of tannin and earthy notes in the finish provide impeccable balance and support.
