Cabernet Franc must be very happy in the high altitude vineyards in the Gualtallary region of Tupungato district of the Uco Valley in Mendoza. The vineyards planted on sandy, phylloxera free soil, are certified organic. The daytime temperatures are high, ripening the fruit, while nighttime temperatures are cool, maintaining acidity. The result is a dark ruby wine, with spicy, savory, raspberry, strawberry fruit, crisp acidity and ripe, tight tannins.
