An extremely savory wine, which starts off with pomegranate and dark cherry but finishes with intense salted licorice and noticeable oak notes. There’s an interesting hint of blood-orange peel in the aroma, and the whole character of this wine just screams “cellar me.” DRC Richebourg veterans claim the wine is not usually this elegant, so consider that if you’re a frequent buyer.
