While you are enjoying the winery’s “Arthur” Chardonnay you might want to grab a few bottles of this wine to cellar a while. At present it is showing bright apple aromas (not green at all, but more like a Fuji apple) with notes of lemongrass, caramel, and wet stone. The palate leverages its low pH and high total acidity into a super bright wine that’s showing almost all lemon character now, but one that will calm and deepen nicely with some bottle age. It is a long term cellar candidate that you won’t regret holding for ten years plus.
