Sourced from a plot located just north of the Corton hill, this lieu-dit Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel tanks and saw some post-fermentation lees contact in those tanks as well. The wine offers a medium yellow color. On the nose it combines savory tones, in the form a toasted/grainy scent, and fresh floral tones along with suggestions of citrus fruits and tangerine oil. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with abundant acidity in the global context of Chardonnay-based wines. The flavors echo the aromatic impressions, showing suggestions of lemon blossom and a rich, white chocolate-like note, culminating with a crisply mineral finish.
