UBY is a blend of Colombard and Ugni Blanc (a.k.a. Trebbiano), two local regional grapes that never made it big as wine grapes in California. Cool fermented then matured on the lees for a short time, it has a light golden color, ripe nectarine aroma, dry stone fruit and citrus rind flavors, 11.5% alcohol and a light tart finish.
