My sample of this wine didn’t show quite as much structure and linear drive as Voillot’s Pommard Les Pèzerolles from 2011, but it exhibited even more charm and elegance. Aromas and flavors of red as well as black fruits show admirable complexity thanks to floral, mineral and spice accents. A lovely wine that is sure to become even more complex and compelling over the course of the next 5 to 7 years.
