Domaine Sigalas, Santorini (Greece) Assyrtiko / Athiri 2017

 From ancient vineyards (planted over 3000 years ago) this charming white wine is both steely and full flavored (you might detect notes of honey and citrus, along with stony minerality).  It is beautifully balanced, with cleansing acidity on the finish.  It makes a beautiful aperitif, and also partners well with seafood and shellfish.  Made from Assyrtiko 75% and Athiri 25%.
