A fresh, fruit-forward Malbec is the obvious intent here, and it gets delivered with style and grace thanks to a faint savory white pepper note that brightens the fruit and adds some texture. Throw in that it is easy to find and more than fairly priced, and you have another winner from this venerable estate.
