Donum Estate, Anderson Valley (Mendocino County, California) Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021 ($95)

This Pinot Noir is a fine representative of Anderson Valley, with signature cherry fruit, nice damp earth minerality, brown spice, and soft oak char notes in the nose. The palate translates the aromatic elements well with a near to plush texture midpalate that firms up in the finish. The oak is still folding in here, and some cellar time will resolve it elegantly.
