Most American (and many French) Viogniers accent the grape’s fragrant and fruity characteristics, but this one hearkens more to the Northern Rhône where the variety is at its best. Full-bodied and voluptuous without being sweet, yet with delicate pear and candied-fruit flavors that come mainly in the finish.
