Zinfandel is the signature grape for the Dry Creek Valley Appellation. This vintage of “Heritage Vines” Zinfandel is about all things dark and delicious as blackberry, black cherry, boysenberry and even a dash of dark chocolate make their way into the blend’s flavor profile. A little dab of oak spice adds zest and further complexity to the wine. At 14.5% alcohol, the blend includes 77% Zinfandel, 22% Petit Syrah and 1% Carignan. Some of the fruit came from vines aged 25-plus years.
