Now that’s a spicy wine! Bright peppermint subsides with a few minutes in the glass, and then the bold black cherry and cedar spice notes take over. It’s a mouthful of Cabernet Franc in a way I haven’t experienced before — there are no traces of anything green or herbaceous. It’s all about the fruit and spice. Go for the cheese course with this one.
