This winery is famous for its reds, particularly the Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel and the red Rhone-style blend, but you shouldn’t overlook the excellent Chardonnay. The estate vineyard benefits from cooling evening breezes from the nearby Pacific Ocean that preserve the freshness and snap in the Eberle Chardonnay. The 2018 offers exquisite balance, notes of apple, pear and lemon crème, with a touch of wood spice for added complexity.
