I always find this offering to be quite pleasant. It’s crisp, with a nice mix of nectarine and herb characteristics. It’s very dry, and some grip brings up the zest in the finish without wiping out the stone fruit. Nine different clones make up the blend, and the mix gets ten months in barrels to add complexity and richness. If you’re a Pinot Noir house that needs a white wine on the menu, why not go this route? Others would be wise to steal the idea.
