Emrich-Schonleber’s 2021 “Mineral” is a complex and deeply refreshing dry Riesling that lives up to its name with an expressive nose redolent of granite and crushed stone. The mineral character carries over to the palate, where the mineral notes intermingle with fresh white peach, kiwi, lime juice, and honeysuckle flavors. This flaunts mouthwatering acidity and high-toned energy. It’s hard not to drink this all now, but this has excellent aging potential.
