Ernesto Catena’s Siesta en el Tahuantinsuyu is not a fabulous wine, but a very good one that touches all the right Cabernet bases – nice and rich blackberry and blueberry fruits, a lean and almost leathery structure, yet with good weight and mouth feel, walnut-flavored tannins and a long finish emphasizing both fruit and savory elements.
