A very pretty wine, with a supple, silky texture, sufficient acidity for balance, and plenty of sexy fruit and spice flavors. It outperforms many of this label’s American renditions, demonstrating to my mind at least that New Zealand, not the United States, is the place to go for Pinot Noir made outside of Burgundy.
