Etude, Carneros (California) Pinot Gris 2019

 Etude’s Pinot Gris shows both power and body.  Lemon, graham cracker, pear, agave, mango, and apricot notes are fresh in the glass despite this vintage having over four years of bottle age on it.  Don’t worry, this vintage can easily age into the future thanks to its elegance, crisp acidity, and fruit structure.  Etude’s winemaking team puts their focus on the vineyards first with the goal of harvesting the best fruit before any winemaking process intervention.  Etude also focuses on their commitment to sustainability, recognizing the importance of biodiversity in reduced chemical use to produce resilient vines in a changing climate.
