Winemaker Duncan Williams brings us this massive Syrah from Temecula, and it works by finding balance between super ripe fruit and charred oak spice. I don’t know how Duncan managed to keep the heat in check, but he did, and the result is well suited to lamb or over the top beef preparations. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
