A tasty, white Bordeaux styled rendition, the first wine made at Fallbrook Winery by Euan Parker. Proprietor Ira Gourvitz says that a little time in twice used barrels helps to round off the acidity, deepen the mid palate and accentuate the peach character of the fruit. There’s a bright herbaceous kick on the end that makes me think of a rosemary and thyme crusted halibut fillet as a pairing. A nice value.
