Soft on the palate, with a lush texture and super-ripe fruit flavors, this fairly expensive Cabernet tastes quite sweet. The sugary overtones mute any distinctive varietal or regional character, so while the wine certainly is tasty, it displays little individuality. That would be fine were it priced at $15, but $46 seems too much.
