Another in a string of wines that’s changing my mind about a region that I haven’t been a fan of. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine has the acid backbone that many Lodi wines lack, giving it a lively feel and bright red fruit flavors, complemented by balanced spice notes. The finish is long and leafy, with supple tannins and good integration of flavors. A nice quaffer, or pair it with bold pasta dishes.
