This is a 60/40% blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah that is marvelously open and juicy, with very pure fruit that is unencumbered by wood. The fruit notes recall dark berries and cherries, and the wine is so delicious that it serves as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary quality of the 2011 vintage in Uruguay.
