Black cherry, cranberry and damp earth tones get things started on the nose here, and they carry through to the palate in bright food friendly style thanks to popping fresh acidity. It is quite dark in color – on the garnet side of the red spectrum, but the flavors are bright and breezy. Give it a good decant if going in young, or cellar for five to ten years. Contains clones 115, Calera, Pommard and Swan.
