This is classic Cabernet Franc on the nose — really a textbook example of varietal character. Cherry, raspberry, bay leaf, earth tones and soft oak spice flood the nose and the palate, and they all finish with good integration and length, not to mention full satisfaction. It punches well above its price category to boot — an all-around win.
