Whether labeled as Lemberger or as Blaufrankisch, this is a grape deserving more respect as a red variety suitable for first class wine. Here, a mix of black and blue berry aromas get a boost from soft oak spice, and everything comes out as promised on the palate, with a supple grip and a layered, complex finish. Delightful!
