Here is a plush, round red wine that will make a serious play to be your house red. A Cabernet Sauvignon based blend, it’s big on flavor, soft on tannin and long on the finish. Black cherry, blueberry and plum are in the mix, with balanced oak spice and vanilla. This was beautiful with pan fried tri-tip strips and roasted cauliflower with garlic, onion and parmesan cheese. Discounters will have this at around thirteen bucks, and it really over-delivers at that price point.
