Cour-Cheverny is a 73 hectare appellation within Cheverny that makes white wines from the Romorantin grape. François Cazin’s focuses on older vineyards with low yielding crops which gives the wine excellent depth of flavors ranging from red apple skins to dried apricot to fresh melon. The wine’s bright acidity makes it easy to pair with both creamy or oil-based dishes. At $27, this is an excellent wine to change up one’s white wine game.
