François Gaunoux, Pommard 1er Cru (Burgundy, France) 2009

This lacks the power and concentration that one expects from a warm and ripe vintage. The nose has aromatic cherry, tobacco, and leather.  This is a lightish wine for the vintage and a touch rustic. The ripe fruit dominates, but is not concentrated enough to warrant holding the wine.  Drink this now.
