It’s an unusual treat to get to taste the “regular” Chianti Classico and the Riserva from the same vintage side by side. The Riserva gets 100% barrel treatment, and while similar to the regular, shows significantly more ripeness and weight. The two are so closely priced, I’d pick up a couple of each and pair to the weight of the meal you’re serving. Go bold with this one!
