It’s certainly no surprise when a Napa Valley Cabernet turns out to be a show-stopper, but occasionally the producer raises an eyebrow. Frisson is a relative unknown, yet its 2010 Napa Cab is a familiar experience. Powerful yet balanced, with aromas of cedar and lead pencil, dark fruit, layered complexity and firm grip on the finish, this is one very classy Cabernet from the California valley where Cabernet is king.
