Though not as rich and concentrated as the previous vintage, the 2016 Dark Knight is a seductive wine, soft on the palate and with a modicum of complexity and elegance. The wine shows floral notes, dark cherry and a touch of spice, with supple tannins. Made to enjoy over the near term.
