Over 2000 years ago, the first grapevines were planted in Upper Galilee. In 2000, Galil Mountain Winery opened its doors selling wine from that same soil. Their 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon slowly rolls out of the glass with fragrant aromas of plums, black cherry skin, cassis, and bay leaf. The palate is deeply textured, weaving layers of saturated red and black fruit, herbs, and pipe tobacco wrapped in a frame of fine-grained tannin.
