Gallica blends 16% Cabernet Franc into their 2017 blend to provide deeper colors and additional earthy notes. Everything in this wine, from the stamped year on the top of the cork — a nice anti-counterfeit idea — to the delicate finish, displays quality winemaking. While many Napa fans won’t bat an eye at opening this bottle today, this wine has everything it needs to cellar age another ten or more years.
