The winery’s Russian River AVA blend is always a fine showcase of winemaking skill, and Theresa Heredia doesn’t disappoint with this vintage. Kirsch, rose petal, and raspberry aromas translate nicely on the palate, where they get a dose of clove and toffee spice. A bit of ginger tea comes forward in the finish. I’d go for a well herbed roast chicken as a pairing partner.
