Georges DuBoeuf, Julienas (Beaujolais, Burgundy, France) 2010

Jan 11, 2012

By W. Blake Gray

This chateau with a 15-acre vineyard has been making wine since the 18th century.  This is a rich wine for Beaujolais, with black and red plum notes and measurable tannins.  The mouthfeel is delightfully smooth; it’s a pure drinking pleasure, and great value.
