Spring is around the corner and this light bodied Zweigelt is ideal for the coming warmer days. The wine’s structure, a fruit-forward profile and low 12% alcohol, makes it suitable for serving with a chill. I would recommend up to 45 minutes in the fridge before serving or, alternatively, put the wine in a bucket of ice. Greyerohf’s Zweigelt shows red cherry, pomegranate, red licorice, and a little minerality. Treat yourself to a tiny moment of luxury. Find a warm spot in the sun with some friends and serve this with cheese and charcuterie — even with a chill, it will complement both.
