This vineyard showcases the riper side of Anderson Valley, and in this vintage it delivers rich black cherry, blackberry, pie spice and a touch of oak char in aroma and flavor profiles, all riding a viscous texture through a long finish. It will be enjoyable to taste this over the next five to ten years to observe how the oak integrates and deepens the overall package. As usual, great Pinot Noir from Goldeneye.
