A wonderful Italian Chardonnay done in a Burgundian style. This wine has all of the character and concentration of a world-class quality Chardonnay. It highlights both Collio’s mineral-rich “ponca” soils and Robert Princic’s lees-aging style. It displays a round body, subtle creaminess, baked and fresh tree fruit, and a nice classically-Collio minerality. The complexity and concentration suggest this wine will age well.
