Greywacke, Marlborough (New Zealand) Pinot Gris 2016

Nov 21, 2019

By Marguerite Thomas

Gorgeous rich and mouth-filling flavors of peach, pear, baked apple and fig convey hedonism and charm. Next come waves of delicious lip-smacking acidity.   After a natural indigenous yeast fermentation in old French oak barriques the wine then went through fermentation in stainless steel tanks with cultured yeast. The overall complexity and sheer lusciousness of this Pinot Gris make it very special indeed.
