This is a lovely Pinot Noir showing modestly dense pigmentation that suggests restraint — a good thing — and delivers that while also offering good depth of flavor. There’s bright acidity to freshen the generous fruit, which calls red cherries, and the wine achieves fine detail thanks to subtle savory accents and a light touch on oak. A Platinum Award winner at the 2017 San Diego Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
