The only thing this wine lacks is an accompanying guide to let us know how to pronounce its name. Everything else about it is easy, from the price, to the stylish black and white graphics on the label, to the smooth savory flavors. Helderberg Wijnmakerij produces a range of wines (Merlot, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc in addition to the Cabernet), some of which I’ve tasted, all of which I’ve found appealing. Helderberg is a Western Cape winemaking area.
